the exhalted ranks of UNCLE.
This is an honour bestowed on a few souls whose contributions
to the list have been above and beyond the call of duty.
Uncle Don fits that criteria.
Since then it's been stretched 1.5 ", I've fitted the 81 cast wheels, new shocks, swing arm bushings, tapered roller steering head bearings, an 80 seat, Mac 2-2 exhaust, 77 carbs (jetted of course) dual disc front brakes, lower 77 handle bars, new paint, 78 standard 3.9 gallon tank, 79 speedo, large fly screen, and halogen head lamp.
Next a 750 kit and round slide carbs, as soon as money permits !
went bad he decided to give it to me. Of course I paid him for the work he had done to it, like polish, paint, tires, cleaning etc..
It's the strongest running XS I've ever seen and we picked it up for $50.
It did look a mess though when we first saw it. It's been worth every penny.
